This two day course is a foundation level programme designed to equip psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational health managers and general practitioners with a comprehensive understanding of the effects of trauma on the cognitive, emotional and behaviour responses of the individual.
This course is crucial for individuals who wish to work safely in the field of psychological first aid. This is not a debriefing course.
It will be taught by Consultant Psychologist Christine Tizzard who is an experienced practitioner in this area. This course was first run in 2000 and has been used by companies such as Southern Railway, Virgin, Accor, etc to train their first responders.
