Practitioner Certificate in Psychological First Aid

This is an intensive 40 hour programme held over a five day period. It is essential that participants have previously completed a foundation psychological first aid course that has provided an understanding of the neurobiological aspects of trauma. Delegates will also be working or had recent experience in this area.

This Certificate in Psychological First Aid course builds on previous knowledge. Participants will learn how to provide skilled psychological first aid and initial screening of those at most risk of developing later PTSD.
